Perske was founded in 1946 in Moosburg, Bavaria, as Elektrotechnische Fabrik Walter Perske, relocating to Mannheim in 1954.

Today a 100% family-owned company with approximately 120 employees under Managing Director Ulrich Perske, the company is a leading manufacturer of high-performance special electric motors and motor spindles. Perske specialises in high-speed direct drives with direct tool mounting for CNC routing, milling, and machining applications. Products span high-frequency routing motors, motor spindles, synchronous technology drives, and automatic tool-change (ATC) spindles. Motors are used in woodworking, plastics, composites, sheet metal, stone, glass, and aerospace. All motors are individually manufactured to customer requirements.
